Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 3x12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Rotating Weekend Requirement (Every Other Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned Emergency Department patients
• Maintain professional accountability for the provision and quality of patient care
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care activities in conjunction with other departments and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain patient rights and ensure confidentiality of all patient information
• Float to other areas as needed and adapt to a fast-paced emergency care environment

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license – must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold Missouri licensure
• Minimum of 2–3 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Active BLS certification
• Active ACLS certification
• Active TNCC certification
• Active PALS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
