Salem Health Hospitals and Clinics
Location: West Valley Hospital, 525 SE Washington Street, Dallas, Oregon 97338
Department: Diagnostic Imaging
Position type: Full Time, 36 hours/week, Non-Exempt
Schedule: 8:00 am - 8:30 pm Thursday, 7:30 am - 8:00 pm Friday and Saturday Your role with us As a radiologic technologist at West Valley Hospital, part of the Salem Health system, you'll play an essential role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to patients in the close-knit community of Dallas, Oregon. Our imaging services support the inpatient and emergency departments 24/7, with outpatient services operating Monday through Friday and occasional weekend coverage. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a smaller hospital setting with a supportive team, manageable patient volumes, and no on-call requirements-allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. At West Valley, you'll be part of a highly collaborative imaging team where everyone knows each other and works together to support both patients and one another. During the day, you'll partner with a team that includes a Lead Technologist, CT technologists, and fellow X-ray technologists; in the evenings, a smaller cross-trained team works together across modalities to meet patient needs. This structure creates a strong team-oriented environment where flexibility and a willingness to help wherever needed are highly valued. Our technologists do more than capture images-they use critical thinking and clinical judgment to tailor each exam to the patient's condition and comfort level. You'll work with digital imaging technology including Philips and Canon portable equipment, and utilize EPIC, Radiant, and PACS systems to deliver seamless, efficient care. West Valley Hospital is an ideal setting for technologists looking to grow their hospital experience in a supportive, lower-volume environment. Many of our team members use this role as a stepping stone to expand their skills, with opportunities for cross-training and professional development within the Salem Health network. Here, you'll truly experience the best of both worlds: the personal feel and pace of a small community hospital, backed by the resources, stability, and clinical excellence of a leading regional health system. Your technical expertise, teamwork, and compassion will help ensure every patient receives exceptional care and an outstanding experience from start to finish. What you'll do
