Wayne Pharmacy & Surgical Supplies is hiring!
We're looking for a dependable, friendly, and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team!
As a locally owned community pharmacy, we take pride in providing personalized care and building lasting relationships with our patients. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about helping others.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with preparing, filling, and labeling prescriptions.
- Process prescription orders and insurance claims accurately.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist patients with prescription refills, pickups, and general inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and pharmacy inventory.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and insurance companies when needed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment.
- Follow pharmacy policies and all applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy technician experience is required.
- Experience working in a retail or community pharmacy preferred.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and prescription processing.
- Knowledge of prescription insurance billing and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy pharmacy setting.
- Friendly, reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
- Must meet applicable New Jersey pharmacy technician registration requirements.
