Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ambulatory surgery setting throughout the perioperative continuum
• Assist surgical team during operative procedures within the operating room environment
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and documentation
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient safety
• Adhere to sterile technique, infection control protocols, and facility policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification required
• Prior experience in an operating room or ambulatory surgery setting
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and surgical procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification or pursuit of certification preferred
• Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
