Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic team at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in helping our residents recover from injuries, illnesses, or disabilities and regain their independence. Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to maximize patient functional abilities Conduct occupational therapy interventions, such as training in activities of daily living, mobility, and cognitive skills Record progress and maintain accurate records of patient treatment Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and promoting a positive work environment Requirements Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in occupational therapy or a related field preferred 0 years of experience; willing to train and mentor new staff members Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team Benefits Comprehensive healthcare benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision) #J-18808-Ljbffr Foothill Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center
