Plant Manager

Plant Manager (Open) Job Requisition #: 034230 Responsibilities Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and operational excellence practices. Lead daily plant operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets are consistently achieved. Implement and monitor performance management systems, production plans, and operational KPIs; identify gaps and drive corrective actions as needed. Develop and execute strategic improvement plans for plant operations, reliability, efficiency, and workforce performance. Foster a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while promoting proactive safety behaviors. Build and develop high‑performing teams through coaching, training, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives. Ensure effective communication of company goals, operational priorities, and performance expectations across all levels of the organization. Partner cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, HR, Finance, and Commercial teams to support business objectives and customer requirements. Forecast future production, staffing, equipment, and facility needs while contributing to strategic business planning and capital project initiatives. Develop and manage plant budgets, monitor expenditures, and drive cost control initiatives in alignment with financial objectives. Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout the facility. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education, Experience & Certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (preferred). 5–7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience within a production or plant management environment. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt preferred). Experience leading teams in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required). Knowledge & Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and plant performance management. Demonstrated leadership capability with experience developing and leading high‑performing teams. Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making, and multitasking abilities in dynamic operational environments. Knowledge of OSHA, labor regulations, environmental compliance, and other applicable manufacturing standards. Understanding of engineering and maintenance principles related to manufacturing operations. Strong financial and operational acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management. Excellent communication, prioritization, delegation, and organizational skills. Proficiency with ERP systems, production reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications. Strong commitment to safety, quality, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $119,300.00 – $203,100.00 (typical range $125,000.00 – $135,000.00). Short‑term incentive may be available. Benefits include medical, dental, paid time off, and other competitive benefits effective day one.
