About the Role


We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Hayward. The Occupational Therapist will provide rehabilitation services focused on helping patients improve independence, functional abilities, mobility, and performance of activities of daily living.


Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living, strength, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical response and rehabilitation goals.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and safe functional strategies.
• Maintain accurate treatment documentation and collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation and nursing teams.

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications Required.
• Ability to Provide Occupational Therapy Services in a Post-Acute / Rehabilitation Setting Required.
• Strong Patient Assessment, Treatment Planning, and Rehabilitation Skills Required.
• Strong Communication, Documentation, and Interdisciplinary Collaboration Skills Required.
• Ability to Work the Assigned Day Schedule of 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Required.
