About the role Kaimetrix is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to support mission‑critical collaboration and information‑sharing solutions in a secure government environment. This role is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining SharePoint solutions using custom code, web parts, and workflows, while ensuring high quality delivery through disciplined software development practices and technical mentorship. What you’ll do Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint solutions , including customized code, web parts, and SharePoint workflows Perform development activities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , including Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies Conduct and support development testing activities, including Unit Testing, System Testing, Functional Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Document, track, and report software defects using a bug‑tracking system and coordinate resolution with developers and project managers Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, promoting best practices, coding standards, and consistent development procedures Qualifications Eight (8) years of experience in SharePoint development , including customized code and creation/modification of web parts and workflows Five (5) years of experience working within a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including Agile, Scrum, or Lean environments Five (5) years of experience mentoring junior personnel on proper development practices and procedures Five (5) years of experience documenting software defects and reporting issues to developers and project managers Five (5) years of experience performing development testing (unit, system, functional, or user acceptance testing) Security & Certification Requirements Active TS/SCI clearance with SBI , with the ability to attain SI, TK, G, HCS, and NATO Secret access Benefits Summary: Kaimetrix offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance; company‑paid short‑term and long‑term disability coverage; company‑paid life and AD&D insurance with additional voluntary options; a 401(k) and Roth retirement plan with employer matching; paid time off that increases with tenure; 11 paid federal holidays; FSA and HSA options; commuter benefits; annual education reimbursement for approved training and certifications; employer‑paid identity protection; and optional supplemental coverages such as accident, cancer, critical illness, and hospital indemnity.
