Systems Administrator 3 - (Windows, Active Directory, VMware) Linthicum, Maryland Systems Administrator 3 - (Windows, Active Directory, VMware) Clearance: TS/SCI - Polygraph required Position ID: 10-5017-SA3 Location: Linthicum, Maryland Description: As a collaborative member of a small and mostly autonomous team, this position directly supports secure enclave development networks. Conduct functional and connectivity testing to ensure continuing operability. Develop and document systems administration standard operating procedures. Maintain baseline system security according to organizational policies. Manage accounts, network rights, and access to systems and equipment. Plan, execute, and verify data redundancy and system recovery procedures. Install, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers. Comply with organization systems administration standard operating procedures. Implement and enforce local network usage policies and procedures. Manage system and server resources including performance, capacity, availability, serviceability, and recoverability. Monitor and maintain system and server configurations. Perform repairs on faulty system and server hardware. Troubleshoot hardware/software interface and interoperability problems. Position Required Skills: Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy Familiarity with Linux Server Administration VMware/ESXi VMware vCenter Networking Switching and Router Management VMWare Virtual Networking Storage Management (NetApp) Hardware and Operating System troubleshooting Security Compliance Scanning (Nessus, ACAS) Understanding of project design within the scope of security (RMF) requirements Ability to demonstrate cyber/IT related experience with attention to detail, customer service, oral and written communication, and problem solving. SA-3 Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 15 years’ experience as a System Administrator, OR High school diploma and 20 years’ experience as a System Administrator Salary Range: $170k-$207k (Annually) The range displayed above is a likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possible contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
