UX Content Writer
LOCATIONS BY PREFERENCE: 1. Most preferred – Pittsburgh, PA, 15222 2. Second preferred – Columbus, OH, 43213 or Phoenix, AZ, 85016 3. Remote possible (would not be eligible for conversion)
Pay rate: $30-40/hr. on W2 ONLY
Work arrangement: 3 days minimum in office for now (5 days if converted) Length of assignment: Approximately 1 year
Function of the group: Combination of mitigating risk and generating revenue Industry background: UX content design and writing experience required
Role/Responsibilities: Lead content creation and act as subject matter expert within product design. Partner with designers to apply UX writing to established products. Identify user problems and craft clear, effective content solutions. Collaborate with writers to maintain consistent content guidelines and language. Conduct user research (test plans, interview guides, scripts, analysis). Support design process by integrating content strategy Partner with product managers on legal, risk, and compliance reviews. Present and explain content decisions to non-experts.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (2–4 years): 1. UX writing / UX content design experience, 2. Copywriting and editing expertise, 3. Digital content delivery experience, 4. Experience with Figma and/or Mural, 5. Client Office proficiency, 7. Experience working in regulated environments (legal, compliance, risk — e.g., healthcare, finance)
Flex skills: 1. Agile methodology, 2. Content strategy experience, 3. Design thinking knowledge, 4. Digital communications experience, 4. UX design exposure, 5. Banking, investment, or financial industry experience, 6. Insurance or healthcare experience
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (experience prioritized)

Interview process: Candidates must show ID during interview. 1st round: Hiring manager (30 min screening) · Writing exercise provided after or at end of first interview · 2nd round: Content designer/lead (review exercise + deeper interview)
