Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical/Tele Float Pool team. This position requires flexible scheduling and the ability to float to various units as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units.
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings; respond to changes in patient conditions.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document nursing care and patient responses in electronic health records.
Participate in patient and family education regarding health and wellness.
Float to various units as required to support staffing needs.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel nursing experience preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Experience with IV starts and telemetry monitoring is essential.
Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system required.
Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
