Position: In-House / On-Site

Job Summary

We are a growing locksmith company looking for our  first in-house After-Hours Dispatcher to join our team.

This is an important position within our company. You will be responsible for answering incoming customer calls, dispatching jobs to our locksmith technicians, following up on active jobs, and helping oversee our field operations throughout the night.

We are still a small and growing company, which means  there is a lot to do and a lot to learn. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a job—someone who wants to take responsibility, learn the business, and grow with the company.

Because you will be our  first in-house dispatcher , the right person will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and advance into a larger role as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls professionally and confidently
• Gather customer information and accurately create jobs in our system
• Dispatch jobs to technicians based on location, availability, and priority
• Communicate with technicians throughout their shifts
• Follow up with customers and technicians regarding open and pending jobs
• Monitor active jobs and help make sure they are completed properly
• Keep job information and customer records accurate and organized
• Manage and update company inventory
• Handle basic administrative tasks
• Help resolve customer and technician issues as they arise
• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the business
• Take on additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts
• Excellent on the phone and comfortable speaking with customers
• Organized and able to manage multiple things at the same time
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• Able to make decisions and solve problems without constant supervision
• Detail-oriented and responsible
• Calm under pressure
• Willing to learn
• Motivated to grow into a bigger role within the company

Dispatching or customer service experience is preferred, but we care heavily about attitude, reliability, communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly.
