Online Auction & Estate Sale Assistant (Part-Time/Flexible Schedule)

Position Overview Caring Transitions is seeking dependable, hard-working Team Members to assist with estate sales, online auctions, home cleanouts, organizing, and downsizing projects. This is a project-based, flexible part-time position ideal for individuals who enjoy variety, can work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Our team works directly inside clients' homes during important life transitions, so professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and strong customer service are essential. Key Responsibilities Assist with organizing, sorting, staging, pricing, and preparing items for estate sales and online auctions Safely pack, move, lift, and transport household items and furniture Provide excellent customer service during estate sales and client interactions Maintain accuracy while handling inventory, pricing, and merchandise placement Work efficiently and with urgency to meet project deadlines Follow directions while also being able to think independently and solve problems on-site Help maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments Collaborate with team members to complete projects quickly and professionally Support sale-day operations including checkout assistance, crowd flow, and customer questions What We're Looking For Reliable and dependable with strong attendance and punctuality Able to work accurately and quickly in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working with little supervision Self-starter who takes initiative and stays productive Strong teamwork and communication skills Positive attitude and professional demeanor with clients and customers Flexible schedule availability, including occasional evenings or weekends Ability to lift, move, and carry boxes or furniture items as needed Reliable transportation required Ideal Candidate This role is best suited for someone looking for flexible, project-based work rather than a fixed weekly schedule.
