CNC Operator

Position: CNC Operator
Pay: $25.00-$30.00/hr
Shift: Monday - Friday (Weekends as needed); 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM OR 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM (Must be open to both schedules)
Location: Gary, IN
- Set up and operate engine lathe and accessories to produce quality parts
- Work from drawings, sketches, and instructions
- Rough turn rolls, bore, turn contours, tapers, and chase threads
- Improvise setups and determine tooling and sequence
- Perform minor maintenance and keep work area clean
- Operate CNC machinery using Fanuc/Mazatrol controllers
- Modify and write CNC programs as needed
- Read blueprints, calculate tolerances, and convert measurements
- Use precision measuring tools and record data
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Driver's License required
- 1-2 years CNC Machine Operator experience
- Ability to read blueprints and measure tolerances
- Milling, Lathe, and CNC Machine experience
- CNC programming and operation
- Fanuc and Mazatrol controllers expertise
- Blueprint reading and precision measurement
- Maintenance, forklift operation, and material handling
