Position Description: Mia's Italian Kitchen is an exciting concept that offers rustic, ingredient-driven Italian food, specialty cocktails, craft beer, and an amazing wine list in a warm and contemporary setting!We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates leadership skills, and has a passion for cooking. This role involves leading kitchen staff, preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring consistency in food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
Lead, train, and mentor line cooks and kitchen staff.
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety practices.Collaborate with the Head Chef/Executive Chef to maintain kitchen efficiency.
Monitor food quality and consistency.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, including supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
