HVAC/R Technician

About The Role Perform maintenance and monitoring repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems Utilize tools, materials, and test equipment for installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC control systems Install, maintain, and repair HVAC controls including pneumatic, electric, and electronic systems Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/BAS control issues Adjust and calibrate pneumatic and electronic devices to balance HVAC systems Inspect and service controls on a scheduled basis Respond to service calls and troubleshoot system issues Prepare repair and installation estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems Perform manufacturer-required preventive and emergency repairs on HVAC equipment Service Electric-Only HVAC Systems and Gas Boiler and Electric HVAC Systems Inspect and test equipment and systems to maintain technical integrity Review technical manuals to remain current with evolving technology and electrical safety codes Work extensively outdoors installing and maintaining technical equipment About The Role Perform maintenance and monitoring repairs to Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems Maintain responsibility for facility services, preventative maintenance, purchasing and inventory control Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to maintain HVAC systems Utilize tools, materials, and test equipment for installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC control systems Install, maintain, and repair HVAC controls including pneumatic, electric, and electronic systems Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/BAS control issues Adjust and calibrate pneumatic and electronic devices to balance HVAC systems Inspect and service controls on a scheduled basis Respond to service calls and troubleshoot system issues Prepare repair and installation estimates for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems Perform manufacturer-required preventive and emergency repairs on HVAC equipment Service Electric-Only HVAC Systems and Gas Boiler and Electric HVAC Systems Inspect and test equipment and systems to maintain technical integrity Review technical manuals to remain current with evolving technology and electrical safety codes Work extensively outdoors installing and maintaining technical equipment Qualifications EPA Universal Level Certification (required) NATE Certification (preferred) HVAC Excellence Professional/Industry Certification (preferred) UA Star Mastery Certification (preferred) OSHA certification (preferred) 5+ years of commercial HVAC/R journeyman-level experience EPA Universal Level Certification per Section 608 of the Clean Air Act Experience in Building Automation Systems (BAS) Strong communication skills to coordinate with other technicians Nice to Have 6+ years of progressively responsible HVAC equipment installation, maintenance, and repair experience Completion of an HVAC control training program applicable to system type Extensive factory training and field experience with associated HVAC equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr Best Military Resume
