Regional Vice President - Retirement Mid Markets (Central Valley, CA)

As a member of Transamerica Retirement Solutions, the Regional Vice President is responsible for the sale of qualified retirement plans to small and mid-sized markets through all channels of financial intermediaries including banks, wire houses, regional broker dealers, employee benefit firms, etc. Works within an assigned territory to meet company objectives as a market leader. Responsibilities Prospect for new clients within and assigned territory to achieve sales goals. Develop a network of advisors, consultants, and other third party intermediaries focused on the retirement industry. Develop plan sponsor relationships through direct meetings with key contacts. Participate in proactive marketing campaigns. Manage a territory of target prospects. Qualifications Three years of sales experience in the retirement plan industry FINRA Series 6 & 63 Life & Health License In-depth understanding of the retirement market and ERISA Self-motivated with an instinctive sales acumen to organize thoughts and actions to meet sales goals Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking and presentation skills Ability to manage resources and to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Technical skills to use state-of-the-art tools Preferred Qualifications Existing broker relationships within the assigned territory Working Conditions Remote (Field/Travel) Environment Extensive Travel >50% Travel to meet with prospects, advisors, and key intermediaries in the territory Compensation The salary for this position is generally $ 90,000-100,000K. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2. Bonus Eligibility This position is also typically eligible for Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion. Commissions This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies.
