Job Title RN - Medical Surgical Location Fairfield, TX Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | DuPont Schedule (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during day shift hours Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1, delivering safe and effective nursing care Adhere to unit protocols, dress code (solid color scrubs, clean and professional), and scheduling requirements including weekend rotation Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling as directed by unit leadership — no requested time off (RTO) during assignment Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support patient outcomes and continuity of care Required Qualifications Active Texas RN license or multistate compact license — required at time of submission AHA BLS certification required AHA ACLS certification required AHA PALS certification required Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience Ability to start quickly upon clearance; candidates who can expedite onboarding are strongly preferred Preferred Experience / Skills Experience working in a fast-paced acute care or Medical Surgical environment Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving schedules and unit needs Strong communication and teamwork skills within an interdisciplinary care setting Why Join Us Initial 4-week contract with strong potential for extensions, offering ongoing stability and continued placement Opportunity to make an immediate impact in a facility seeking a motivated and flexible nursing professional Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776302.
