Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM | On-Call Rotation Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan procedures with a variable daily caseload based on shift and location needs
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including rotation to sister facilities as required
• Participate in on-call rotation alongside permanent staff
• Operate Siemens imaging equipment and document within Epic charting system
• Attend all required staff meetings as a contracted clinician
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active BLS certification required
• ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required
• SCRQSA (R)(CT) licensure required — must be active and in hand at time of start; pending licensure not accepted
• Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required; 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Peripheral IV (PIV) competency required
• Radiation badge must be supplied by the staffing agency — the facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Siemens CT equipment experience strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a Magnet-designated or teaching hospital environment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• First-time travelers considered if previous relevant clinical experience is demonstrated
