Danforth Animal Hospital is seeking a registered veterinary technician or experienced assistant, to join our team. We need someone who wanting a long term and full time position. Our hospital is a family owned and operated business. We are an exclusively small animal practice with 5 doctors. We are a state of the art hospital with a full laboratory, ultrasound, and digital x-ray (including dental). We offer laser surgery as well as a variety of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures..
Applicants must be available to work Mon-Frid with one weekday off each week. Applicants must be available to work some Saturdays from 8am-12pm. We want someone who is a motivated worker, able to adapt to changing environments, and is a team player. Registered Veterinary Technician is preferred but not required. We need someone who is passionate about animal care and has experience working with cats as well as dogs. Job duties may include: blood draws, catheter placement, reading urinalysis and fecals, performing blood smears, running lab work, and assisting the veterinarian in any and all procedures.
