Performance Tester

Role Performance Tester Location Atlanta, GA - Hybrid Key Responsibilities Lead the performance testing team in the planning, design, and execution of performance test cases and scenarios. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand system architecture, identify critical performance KPIs, and establish performance benchmarks. Develop comprehensive performance test plans and strategies that cover load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing. Select and implement appropriate performance testing tools and frameworks. Execute performance tests, monitor system performance, and analyze results to identify bottlenecks and issues. Provide detailed performance test reports and recommendations for performance improvements. Mentor and train team members on performance testing best practices and tools. Manage the performance testing environment ensuring that it is properly configured and maintained for accurate testing. Required Skillset 6+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering. Strong knowledge of performance testing principles, methodologies, and tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter. Experience with performance monitoring and profiling tools. Experience with cloud-based performance testing. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages commonly used in performance testing e.g., Java, Python, C. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.
