Inventory Control ClerkOur client, a manufacturing and logistics-focused organization, is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to join their team. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be part of the operations team supporting inventory accuracy and daily order processing. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and comfort working with computer systems, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Altavista, VAPay Range: $16.00Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMWhat's the Job?Audit inventory to keep systems in balance and investigate inventory discrepancies during daily order processing.Process rejected, expired, short dated, and returned products to ensure inventory records remain accurate.Support Quality and Manufacturing by handling material being destroyed, reworked, or quarantined according to established procedures.Resolve orders on hold for inventory status and help move materials through the correct disposition path.Process material being destroyed, re-worked, or quarantined in addition to rejected, expired, and short dated products.What's Needed?Ability to work with significant computer interfaces to complete inventory-related tasks accurately.Comfort investigating discrepancies and following documented processes during daily order processing.Ability to handle product dispositions such as rejected, expired, short dated, returned, destroyed, reworked, or quarantined materials.Willingness to complete a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of education as required.Strong attention to detail and consistency when updating inventory systems.What's in it for me?Clear, structured work focused on inventory accuracy and operational support.Opportunity to contribute directly to Quality and Manufacturing through correct material disposition.Stable daytime schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.Non-Exempt role with overtime paid at Time and a Half for hours over 40.Supportive environment where your attention to detail helps keep orders moving.
