Registered Nurse - Acute Care Surgical Stepdown - Days

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Stepdown Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness provided by other caregivers. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties aligned with organizational standards, values, and mission. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients Assess and evaluate patient needs and care outcomes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information Ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or BSN) Current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure Preferred hospital experience; BLS certification required (or within 30 days of hire) Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various physical activities Additional certifications or specialty credentials are a plus Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, communication, collaboration, physical stamina, and adherence to safety protocols. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mental Health Association of Rochester
