Operations Support Team Member Cook's Flea Market is looking for a dependable, positive, and versatile individual to join our Operations Team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, solving problems, and helping wherever needed to keep the market clean, safe, and operating smoothly. We are seeking someone with general maintenance abilities, a true all-around team player who may have experience with light carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical repairs, cleaning, or facility upkeep. Training and cross-training are available, but previous hands-on maintenance experience is preferred. This is a part-time position requiring full weekend availability. Why You'll Love This Job DailyPay availableaccess your earned wages after your shift Discounted employee meals Employee Referral Program Supportive team environment Opportunities to learn and cross-train in multiple areas of market operations Responsibilities Perform general upkeep and light maintenance throughout the market Assist with minor carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical projects Clean and maintain restrooms, common areas, food stand areas, and other market facilities Pick up trash throughout the market, parking lot, and surrounding areas Respond to operational and table-delivery requests communicated by radio Deliver and arrange tables for vendors in designated areas Assist with market events, setup, breakdown, and other special projects Identify maintenance or safety concerns and communicate them to management Support other areas of the Operations Department as needed Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications and Skills Experience with light carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, mechanical repairs, or general maintenance is preferred Willingness to perform cleaning and restroom-maintenance duties Comfortable learning new responsibilities and cross-training in different operational areas Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to completing work Dependable, flexible, and willing to assist wherever needed Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and safely use basic tools and equipment Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical work throughout the shift Full weekend availability is required
