- # Residential HVAC Service TechnicianApply: Knoxville, TN: Full time: Posted Today: R-26-2610-996**Summary of Job:**This position is responsible for performing residential HVAC maintenance and/or service at the journeyman level. Technician will be primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, furnaces, humidifiers.**Education and Experience:*** High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred* 3-5 years of experience in a combination of HVAC Install/Service* EPA Certification* Able to pass a background screening and pre-employment drug test* Valid driver’s license with a good driving record**Skills and Abilities:*** Understands proper operation and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and electronics of system* Able to troubleshoot and repair basic piping systems, to include copper, plastic, and carbon steel* Knowledge of soldering and brazing techniques* Knowledge of duct systems and air quality equipment**Company Perks & Benefits**Our mission at Lee Company is to create a workplace where our employees can **thrive**, and we back that up with action.
