Job Title

This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until September 25th, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be December 15th, 2025, with subsequent cut-off dates every 2 weeks. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, Full Time

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases

Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Major Duties Include But Not Limited To:

• Provide day-to-day care of veteran patients, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings
• Assess, consult, and treat hematology and oncology patients
• Serve as an expert in chemotherapy and other hematology and oncology procedures, to include bone marrow aspiration and biopsy
• Work closely with other providers, nurses, pharmacist and other disciplines for caring our veterans
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards meeting at the VA and other meetings at UCSF Fresno
• Participate in research and clinical trials
• Able to become a staff faculty in Hematology and Oncology at UCSF Fresno
• Actively participate in training residents, fellows and other medical students that rotate at the VA
• Sign chemo regimens, obtain patient consents, triage consults and follow VA policies and procedures for conduct, time and attendance and scheduling rule
• Other duties as assigned.
