Inventory Specialist

We're partnering with a growing manufacturing organization that is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to take ownership of inventory accuracy, material flow, and warehouse inventory processes. This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys improving processes, working cross-functionally, and ensuring production has the materials it needs to operate efficiently. Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods. Perform cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and resolve variances. Ensure inventory transactions are entered accurately and on time within the company's ERP system. Monitor inventory levels and support material replenishment activities. Coordinate material movements and inventory transfers as needed. Develop and improve inventory control processes and standard operating procedures. Analyze inventory performance metrics and recommend process improvements. Assist with annual physical inventories and routine inventory audits. Partner with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, and Shipping to ensure uninterrupted material flow. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on organization, efficiency, and inventory accuracy. Prepare inventory reports and provide data to support operational decision-making. Qualifications 4+ years of inventory control, materials management, or warehouse experience within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of inventory management best practices and inventory accuracy. Experience using ERP or MRP systems. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field is a plus. Ideal Background We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in maintaining inventory accuracy.
