About the Firm

The Ferraro Law Firm, P.A. is a plaintiff-focused law firm representing clients in personal injury, catastrophic injury, and mass tort litigation. We are seeking a highly analytical, process-driven Operations Analyst to help improve operational efficiency, productivity, accountability, and overall firm performance.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data but also understands that data must lead to action and measurable operational improvement .

Position Overview

The Operations Analyst will work closely with firm leadership and department managers to analyze performance, identify operational bottlenecks, develop reporting tools, and recommend improvements across the organization.

The successful candidate will be comfortable analyzing large amounts of operational data, challenging inefficient processes, and translating findings into clear recommendations for management.

This is not a passive reporting position. We are looking for someone who can identify problems, investigate the underlying cause, and help implement solutions that improve results.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational performance across departments, including Intake, Case Management, Settlements, Medical Records, Accounting, Marketing, and other administrative functions .
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring management reports tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Monitor employee and departmental productivity against established goals and benchmarks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, inefficiencies, delays, and performance trends that may negatively impact client service or financial results.
• Analyze case pipelines, workloads, turnaround times, conversion rates, productivity metrics, and other operational data.
• Conduct root-cause analysis when departments or teams fail to meet established performance expectations.
• Partner with department managers to develop measurable action plans for improving performance.
• Evaluate existing workflows and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and better allocation of resources.
• Assist leadership with forecasting, staffing analysis, capacity planning, and operational decision-making.
• Create clear executive-level reports that summarize findings, risks, trends, and recommended actions.
• Track whether implemented operational changes are producing measurable results.
• Help establish consistent performance metrics and reporting standards across departments.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis for leadership on operational, financial, staffing, and productivity initiatives.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of operational data used for management decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in operations analysis, business analysis, financial analysis, workforce analytics, or a similar analytical role preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar reporting/data visualization tools is strongly preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex information and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate findings effectively to managers and senior leadership.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with multiple departments and competing priorities.
• Legal industry or professional-services experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with legal case-management systems such as Litify or Salesforce is a plus.

• Turn raw operational data into recommendations that improve productivity, client service, case progression, and financial performance .

You are naturally curious and do not stop at reporting what happened . You want to understand why it happened, what is causing it, and what should change.

You are comfortable asking questions, digging into data, identifying inconsistencies, and presenting findings to management. You understand that strong operations require both data-driven decision-making and accountability for results .
