Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ER RN to provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to manage diverse patient populations with efficiency and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients presenting with a variety of acute conditions.
- Assess patient needs rapidly and develop effective care plans while managing high patient turnover.
- Administer medications, perform IV insertions, and operate advanced medical equipment including ventilators and monitors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system.
- Support patient and family education to promote understanding and recovery.
Qualifications:
- Valid California RN license and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications (AHA recognized).
- Minimum of 2 years recent ER experience.
- Proven travel nursing experience with a strong track record preferred.
- Competency in EPIC EMR system usage.
- Strong critical thinking, quick decision-making, and excellent communication skills.
- Trauma and pediatrics experience highly desirable, along with additional certifications such as TNCC or CEN.
