As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols across retail and cultural institution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, communicate professionally with visitors and staff, and provide exceptional customer service. A valid driver’s license is required for this driving post. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, tenants, and/or congregation members by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and document activities according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail, office, worship, and cultural gathering areas, including entrances, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations. Observe and report unusual activity, property concerns, and potential hazards; help to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and disruptive conduct through a professional presence. Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and/or patrol logs while communicating professionally with site representatives, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
