Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a stepdown and general surgery setting.

Monitor and validate cardiac rhythms and respond to changes appropriately.

Administer medications and manage infusion therapies including Heparin and Insulin.

Perform complex wound care and manage surgical drains and devices.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Float between similar units as required by facility needs.

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing.

Minimum two years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Proficiency in EPIC electronic health record system.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience in complex wound care and trauma cases.

Ability to handle 1:6 and 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratios effectively.
