Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Summary The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Shift D at A.P.C.O.M. in Franklin, Tennessee will perform preventative, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment with a strong emphasis on electrical controls and systems. Responsibilities Respond to production work orders to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and facility equipment including fabrication, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, PLC, and robotic processes. Assist Multi-Craft Maintenance Technicians with electrical control, motion control, vision camera, robotic, and PLC equipment. Primary preventive maintenance focus on electrical cabinets, PLC/Robot/Drive backups. Become familiar with product specifications and quality standards, help develop and maintain operating procedures, review each line for quality, and work with Quality to train employees to identify quality problems. Complete all work orders in a timely manner. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Journeyman or related certification or degree preferred. Five years of experience in the responsibilities listed above. Must possess a complete set of maintenance tools. Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, PLCs, and robotics. SAP experience preferred. Benefits & Compensation Regularly Scheduled Hours: Continental Shift D rotating Day Shift (5:30 am‑6:00 pm) in two‑week cycles, 48 hours first week and 36 hours following week. Pay: Minimum $27.79‑hour. Physical Requirements Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel‑toe shoes/boots, ear and eye protection. Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching. Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
