Responsibilities include detailed preventative maintenance, wiring and installation of control components, testing and calibration of devices, and resolving mid-level electrical or communication issues. The role coordinates with project managers and programmers for complex tasks and supports system commissioning and customer communication.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESPerforming detailed preventative maintenance on PLC systems, HMI devices, instrumentation, and control circuitsTroubleshooting mid-level automation issues involving sensors, relays, drives, communication networks, and I/O failuresInstalling and wiring control panels, field devices, and instrumentation according to specifications and drawingsTesting, calibrating, and verifying proper operation of automation and instrumentation componentsSupporting system commissioning and field validation activitiesPreparing documentation, test results, and recommended corrective actionsCoordinating with project managers, programmers, and senior technicians for complex or integrated system issuesProviding customer support by explaining findings, maintenance needs, and corrective actionsJOB REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED required2 to 4 years of experience in industrial controls, automation, electrical maintenance, or field service workAbility to perform detailed preventative maintenance and system-level diagnostics with minimal supervisionWorking knowledge of PLC systems, HMI devices, instrumentation, control circuits, sensors, relays, drives, and communication networksAbility to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control documentationExperience supporting commissioning, testing, and field validation activitiesAbility to coordinate with internal teams and customers on technical findings and corrective actionsBENEFITS:Competitive Salary + bonus401(k)/ Retirement savingsComprehensive Benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage)Career growth opportunitiesFriendly work environmentPaid vacation/holidays
