Job Overview Manager, HPC/AI Software Product Management. Manage a portfolio of HPC/AI management and solution software products, leading a team of product managers through the full product lifecycle. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of product managers, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management. Set clear goals, expectations, and accountability for the team, aligning with business and product objectives. Drive both team performance and product execution, ensuring delivery of high-quality roadmaps, requirements, and outcomes. Conduct regular 1:1s, feedback, and career development planning to support growth of product managers. Provide guidance and oversight on product direction, shaping priorities and ensuring alignment across the portfolio. Enable product managers to operate effectively and independently, stepping in for complex decisions or escalations. Establish and maintain consistent product‑management practices and operating rhythms (planning, prioritization, roadmap reviews). Ensure effective coordination across product managers and product areas, driving alignment and reducing duplication or conflict. Partner with Software Architects and Engineering to ensure product plans are feasible and executable. Drive execution discipline, ensuring commitments are met and delivery quality is consistent. Identify gaps in team capability or execution and implement coaching, process improvements, or structural adjustments. Support portfolio-level alignment and contribute to broader product strategy through cross-functional collaboration. Develop talent and build an internal pipeline through mentorship, succession planning, and leadership development. Education and Experience Required Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Professional Experience 10+ years of experience in software product management or a related field. 3–5+ years of experience in people management, including managing product managers. Experience in HPC, AI/ML, distributed systems, or infrastructure software environments. Proven track record of leading teams and delivering complex software products or platforms. Knowledge and Skills Strong people‑leadership and team‑development skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Ability to balance team leadership with ownership of product outcomes and execution quality. Experience driving cross‑functional alignment and execution in complex technical environments. Strong business and product acumen, with the ability to guide teams in prioritization and decision-making. Solid technical understanding of HPC/AI software systems to collaborate effectively with architects and engineers. Ability to establish and scale effective processes, operating models, and team practices. Strong communication and influence skills across technical and business stakeholders. Sound judgment in managing trade-offs, team dynamics, and delivery commitments. Salary range (US): $144,000 – $273,000 in Colorado; $155,500 – $315,000 in California; $137,000 – $315,000 in Minnesota, Texas, and Wisconsin.
