Job Description
The Lead Quality Technician is responsible for overseeing quality control processes within manufacturing and assembly operations. They lead a small team to ensure compliance with quality standards through both automated and manual inspection methods. This role involves conducting on-site quality inspections as needed, auditing processes, maintaining detailed documentation, and monitoring adherence to compliance requirements to uphold product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team (1-5 members) in quality assurance activities
- Conduct quality inspections using CMM and other tools
- Perform process audits to identify areas for improvement
- Monitor compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality processes and findings
- Oversee quality control in manufacturing and assembly production processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in quality assurance
- Associate Degree in Quality Assurance or related field
- Knowledge of quality control and inspection techniques
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and statistical process control
- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication abilities
