Registered Nurse (RN) Pre Op

The RN Pre Operative (Pre Op) prepares patients for upcoming surgical procedures, conducting assessments, verifying medical histories, and addressing patient concerns. This role ensures that patients are informed and ready for safe operations.

Complete preoperative assessments, including lab reviews and medical history checks.

Provide patient education about the surgical process and post-operative expectations.

Verify consent forms and ensure required documentation is accurate and complete.

Initiate IV lines or other necessary preparations for surgery.

Communicate pertinent findings or concerns to the surgical team.

Pre-surgical units in hospitals or outpatient surgery centers.
