Food Service Director OpportunitySouth Shore Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is hiring a Food Service Director to lead our dining department!We are a 96-bed skilled nursing facility in Rockland. Full-time, salaried role with weekly pay up to $36 an hour.The Food Service Director oversees the operations of the dining department including ordering, staffing, and planning to ensure residents receive delicious and nutritious meals to meet their care needs.Education and Experience:Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical field is preferred.Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, etc.Duties:Plan, prepare, and serve all therapeutic diets in accordance with guidelines and regulationsEnsure sanitation, safety, and quality standards are maintained in all dining services areasEducate and train department staff on all aspects of dining services functionsFormulate menu planning with guidance from dietician and ensure menus are accurately adhered toDelegate authority to competent staff in your absenceProvide dining services for in-house functions and ensure quality and quantity of all deliveriesWhat we offer:Competitive and Weekly PayHoliday Pay for Hourly and Salaried EmployeesOvertime Pay for Hourly EmployeesCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount ProgramAvailable for Eligible Team Members:Employer-Paid Life Insurance401(k) with Employer MatchVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
