- Board Certified NP or PA (Required)
- Active Florida License or Compact License (Accepted)
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- RNFA Certification (Required for APRNs only)
- Minimum 3 years of post-training experience in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery (Required)
- Specialty: Pediatric & Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgery
- Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Setting: Inpatient & Operating Room
- Trauma Level: II
- EMR: Cerner
- Assist Pediatric and Adult Congenital Cardiac Surgeons in both the operating room and clinical settings.
- Provide care for pediatric cardiac surgery patients, including ICU management.
- Round on assigned and unassigned patients.
- Serve as a patient advocate and liaison between patients, families, and physicians.
- Participate in scheduled clinical coverage and shared call responsibilities.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-training Pediatric Cardiac Surgery experience .
- Experience caring for pediatric cardiac surgery patients across multiple care settings, including the ICU.
