Senior Litigation Paralegal

Job Posting: Senior Civil Litigation Paralegal — Real Estate Law Office

A Los Angeles real estate law office is seeking a Senior Civil Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of California civil litigation experience to join our team on a full-time, in-office basis.

The ideal candidate has strong experience supporting attorneys in real estate litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, contract disputes, property-related claims, civil litigation, and general California state court practice. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing deadlines and case workflow in a fast-paced litigation environment.

The position requires strong knowledge of California civil procedure, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting attorneys in all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing litigation calendars, including hearings, discovery deadlines, motion deadlines, trial dates, service deadlines, and court-related dates;
• Drafting and preparing pleadings, discovery, meet-and-confer letters, motions, declarations, notices, subpoenas, and other litigation documents;
• Conducting legal research and assisting with motion drafting;
• Preparing, propounding, and responding to written discovery, including form interrogatories, special interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, and subpoenas;
• Reviewing, organizing, and summarizing evidence, leases, contracts, communications, discovery responses, exhibits, property records, and case materials;
• Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, vendors, and other parties;
• Assisting with case management from intake through resolution, including maintaining case files, tracking deadlines, and coordinating litigation tasks;
• Preparing documents for filing and service in California state courts, including familiarity with e-filing procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of civil litigation paralegal experience, preferably in California real estate litigation;
• Strong familiarity with California civil procedure, state court rules, litigation deadlines, discovery rules, and motion practice;
• Experience with calendaring, legal research, motion drafting, discovery, evidence review, and client communication;
• Experience with real estate, landlord-tenant, lease, property, and contract-related matters is preferred;
• Strong writing, proofreading, organization, and case-management skills;
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with minimal supervision;
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented;
• Spanish-speaking is required.
• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification from an ABA-approved program
