Senior FP&A Analyst - Healthcare Operations.

The Ambulatory Operation Senior FP&A Analyst will be a critical business partner and finance expert for the Ambulatory Operations team. Responsibilities include driving cost savings in clinical operations, providing insight into financial results, identifying and reporting on critical KPIs, evaluating the financial impact of new strategies, and preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION WITH 1 - 3 SITE VISITS A WEEK BASED ON MEETINGS, CANDIDATES MUST BE LOCAL TO THE HOUSTON AREA OR WILLING TO RELOCATE. THIS IS NOT A FULLY REMOTE POSITION. Salary Range: $95,313 - $123,346 (Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.) Qualifications & Requirements Education: Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Experience At least 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis roles within a growing organization. Preferred: Experience in Healthcare Services or Health Plan industries. Key Responsibilities Work closely with clinical operations to identify cost-saving opportunities, provide financial guidance, and quantify the results of savings initiatives. Prepare month-end financial reporting for clinical leadership, explaining material variances from the plan, highlighting critical KPIs, and providing forward-looking guidance. Attend regional operations meetings and clinical administrator meetings to provide financial guidance in decision-making. Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, acquisition activity, new business planning, trended future requirements, government requirements, and operating forecasts. Present monthly operating results to clinic leadership and collaborate on opportunities. Perform ad-hoc analysis and report to the Director of FP&A and VP of FP&A. Foster a business partnership with clinic and provider leadership to develop KPI-driven budgets and forecasts. Interpret and apply corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting theory. Assist teams with operational initiatives and best practices. Special Skills Advanced problem-solving and root-cause analysis experience. Strong personal accountability, attention to detail, and communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment. Strong collaboration, influencing, and communication skills with business partners and stakeholders. Expertise in financial reporting with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to drive financial analysis to support business optimization and improve forecasting accuracy. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Proven problem-solving ability, including analyzing large datasets and presenting recommendations. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other reporting and analytic tools.
