Home Service Inspector (Will Train)

Overview As an Orkin Home Services Inspector, you will help homeowners protect their most valuable asset by conducting comprehensive termite protection inspections and recommending appropriate solutions. The role combines a competitive sales drive with teamwork and offers the opportunity to maximize your financial potential through high‑performance sales skills and annual reward incentives. Responsibilities Serve as a problem solver for customers by applying in‑depth training to determine the best overall pest solution. Initiate prospecting for new business and handle assigned leads, supported by a robust advertising budget. Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services. Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home, preparing you to identify issues and recommend solutions. Make recommendations based on inspection findings, addressing any questions and setting clear expectations. Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company‑provided iPad, following the provided training. Qualifications No experience required – Orkin provides full training. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid). Ability to work independently in the field and interact with customers. Will consider all qualified applicants in a manner consistent with applicable state and local laws. Physical Requirements Safely use a ladder within manufacturer weight capacity. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, including ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include an OSHA‑compliant respirator. Willing to work in varying weather conditions.
