About the Role

We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a CDL Class B Driver within our Commercial team.

This hands-on position involves the safe operation of our bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units) to deliver and install blasting products for clients in mining, quarry, and construction sectors. Your role will be vital in ensuring safe and efficient blasting operations through equipment handling, product delivery, preventative maintenance, and outstanding customer service.

This hybrid role consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical fieldwork . You will work outdoors in various environments and weather conditions while loading, delivering, and installing bulk explosive products at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking and refilling fluid levels.
• Operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks as part of daily tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements when handling, storing, and using raw materials and hazardous goods.
• Implement waste reduction and control practices to minimize environmental impact.
• Promptly report any unusual incidents or accidents.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in driving and/or material handling is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for managing daily inventory tasks.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities to maintain efficiency.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more of products or materials.
• Requires the ability to load products, pull large hoses, fill drilled holes, and climb on and off trucks.
• Regular physical activities include pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and general mobility throughout the workday.
• A valid Class B CDL is required (Class A is a plus); tanker endorsement is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain additional endorsements with support provided.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Local driving responsibilities typically last 2-3 hours.
• Early morning starts around 6 AM.
• Overtime may be required.
• Up to 10% of overnight travel may be necessary.
