Senior Supply Chain AnalystThe Senior Supply Chain Analyst plays a critical role in driving end-to-end supply chain performance within a regulated (medical device) environment. This position owns demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, assist with purchasing execution, and supplier performance management to ensure the right product is available at the right time—without excess working capital.Operating at the intersection of Finance, Operations, Quality, Fulfillment, and external suppliers, this role translates forecasts into actionable purchasing and production plans, drives cost reduction initiatives, and ensures disciplined execution across the supply chain. Success in this role is defined by high service levels, accurate forecasts, optimized inventory, zero stockouts, and continuous improvement in cost of goods sold (COGS).Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead demand and supply planning processes, translating sales forecasts into finished goods and component requirementsEstablish and manage inventory strategies (min/max, safety stock) across raw materials, WIP, and finished goodsMonitor and optimize inventory levels to balance service levels, working capital, and obsolescence riskIdentify and proactively mitigate risks related to stockouts, excess inventory, and long lead timesPartner with Fulfillment/Operations to reconcile physical vs. system inventory and ensure accuracyAssist finance team with purchase order creation, tracking, and execution across suppliers and contract manufacturersCollaborate with suppliers to align production schedules, capacity, and delivery commitmentsMaintain and drive supplier performance through scorecards (on-time delivery, quality, cost, responsiveness)Ensure timely follow-up and accountability to support uninterrupted supplySupport sourcing decisions and negotiations to reduce lead times and unit costsAssist Receiving & Fulfillment (both systemically & physically as needed)Analyze and track COGS per unit across product linesIdentify and execute cost reduction opportunities across materials, freight, packaging, and sourcingSupport tariff, duties, and freight forecasting as part of purchasing and planning decisionsPartner with Finance to ensure accurate cost tracking, classification, and margin visibilityPartner with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Quality, and Fulfillment to align plans and resolve constraintsSupport S&OP / IBP processes through scenario analysis, reporting, and actionable insightsCoordinate with Quality on supplier performance, compliance, and change management actionsAct as the operational bridge between planning and execution teamsAssist Order Entry (systemically) as neededWrite/Revise SOPs/WIs for all of Operations TeamMaintain and enhance planning models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support decision-makingOwn regular supply chain reporting (KPIs, risks, actions, performance trends)Maintain accurate data across ERP/MRP and supporting systems (inventory, POs, vendor records)Leverage data to continuously improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and supplier outcomesIdentify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategiesEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485) and internal quality standardsMaintain documentation and process discipline required in regulated environmentsRequired Experience/Skills5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, purchasing, or operations analyticsExperience in medical device or regulated industry strongly preferredStrong expertise in demand planning, inventory management, and supply planningProven experience managing suppliers and coordinating production schedulesDemonstrated success driving cost savings and process improvementsExperience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google SheetsCore CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward actionClear, consistent communication across internal teams and external partnersAbility to balance service levels with working capital disciplineHigh ownership mindset with strong follow-throughAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environmentEducationBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related fieldPay & Benefits SummaryBase: $90,000-110,000Medical Vision and Dental Insurance Available401K- discretionary 2.5% employer matchBasic/Voluntary Term Life InsuranceLong Term DisabilityHSA AccountsPTO Years 1 and 2, 15 days, Year 3 onwards 20 days12 paid public holidaysReimbursement for travel(sales)
