Locations Eastern Iowa: Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, surrounding areas Central Iowa: Des Moines and surrounding areas (apply through Central Iowa listing) Licensed electricians only. What You Will Do Run residential service calls within your territory. Handle everything from simple fixes to full home rewires and service upgrades. Diagnose issues, present solutions, and close the job on site. Perform the work and collect payment in a single visit. Work primarily in residential homes with occasional light commercial. Pay Structure We offer multiple pay options to match your goals: Straight hourly. 100 percent piece rate. Most popular: Base pay plus commission. Base plus Commission Details Base: $28 to $35 per hour. Commission: 5 percent of monthly gross sales. Typical monthly commission: $1,250 to $6,500+. What We Are Looking For Licensed electrician. Strong troubleshooting ability. Comfortable talking with homeowners and closing work. Self‑motivated and reliable. Wants to earn more than average and is willing to work for it. Benefits Great wages. Ability to lift, push, and pull 70 lbs. Work off ladders of various heights. 1 year or more of residential electrical experience. Ability to work alone, unsupervised or with a team. Self‑starter and self‑motivator. Ability to install electrical work to NEC requirements. Licensed for the state of Iowa, holding one of the following: Residential, Journeyman A or B, Master’s A or B.
