Responsibilities:

• Excellent employment opportunity for a I&C Technician in the Frederick, MD area.
• Required to perform routine calibration, preventive maintenance and repairs to instrument systems and components of laboratory equipment, production equipment, central utilities and building management systems.
• Troubleshoot problems in the event of instrument failure and be able to recommend parts needed for the effective repair.
• Will be required to assist manufacturing and facilities personnel in troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis on process and utility equipment.
• Technician will assist as needed in performing troubleshooting and repairs efforts as assigned. Use basic hand tools.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments.
• Read electronic schematics.
• Must be able to read, write and utilize drawings, mathematics, handbook formulas.
• Read mechanical schematics and piping diagrams P&ID's
• Contact involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring some explanation or interpretation as well as coordination of activities.
• Shift Details: 12 hour day shift working a 2-2-3 (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, etc.) schedule.

• Bachelor's Degree required
• Must be able to work in a clean room environment.
• Candidate must possess computer skills, be detail oriented and be able to complete any required documentation in a timely manner.
• Must have ability to communicate both orally and written in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
