We are focused on solving challenging problems across distributed systems, storage infrastructure, query execution, and graph databases. As one of our first engineers, you'll help shape the architecture, product, and engineering culture from the ground up. About the Role We're hiring Founding Engineers to build the core systems behind HydraDB. This is a hands-on infrastructure role focused on distributed systems, database technologies, and graph storage architecture. You’ll work directly with the founders to make key technical decisions that will influence the product’s direction for years to come. What You’ll Do Design and build core infrastructure including storage, query execution, and distributed systems Contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy Develop highly scalable and reliable production systems Participate in technical design reviews and problem solving Help establish engineering best practices as the team grows Qualifications 3+ years of software engineering experience Strong computer science fundamentals Experience building and operating production systems Proficiency in Rust, Go, or similar systems programming languages Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with distributed systems, databases, or storage infrastructure Open source contributions or systems-level engineering experience Previous startup or founding engineer experience Experience building highly scalable backend systems #J-18808-Ljbffr HydraDB
