Quality Coordinator

Nomax is a privately held and fast-growing manufacturer of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and dietary supplements located in south St. Louis County. Founded in 1982, Nomax primarily focuses on the manufacture of oral solid dosage products and has become one of the leading manufacturers of effervescent products in the United States. Position Overview: The Quality Coordinator is responsible for oversight of quality compliance programs including data collection and trending, laboratory support, training program compliance as well as supporting various projects as directed by Quality Management. This role will be required to help implement quality initiatives across the organization. The position will be a day shift position and the salary range starts at $20 per hour. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and implement quality projects under the direction of the Quality Managers. Projects include items such as: Organizing and interpreting data and writing reports/product reviews of quality compliance programs including but not limited to APR's and stability. Data collection and documentation for investigations or validation studies. Implementing new compliance programs for the site. Documentation updates (writing SOPs) and creating/executing training. Contribute to monthly Quality Metrics by providing input, analyzing data, responding to questions, and developing improvements respective to job responsibilities. Review current content and develop new content to drive training program compliance. Performing internal audits from the start of writing the agenda to final documentation. Support internal investigations and complete documentation as needed, i.e. complaint investigations, writing CAPAs, and deviations. Responding to customer requests and inquiries through data gathering and reviewing trends. Support new product launch process for documentation from start to finish (developing batch records, spec sheets, etc.). Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, with the ability to move frequently throughout the building. No travel or non-standard work hours are required. No non-standard work environment required. Qualifications: Initiative to take on responsibilities and work independently without a high level of oversight. High level of attention to detail, being careful about details in the process and thorough in completing work tasks. Ability to understand and organize data for communications and analysis Effective written and oral communication style for both internal and external communications. Strong ability to collaborate with all levels of the company. High level of critical thinking by using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.
