Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Oncology

Location

Anchorage, AK

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Oncology unit within an acute hospital setting
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient conditions using Epic electronic health record system
• Float to like units as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Participate in weekend coverage as determined by staffing needs
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays as outlined in assignment terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse license (or ability to obtain prior to start; pending license accepted at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Willingness to float to similar units within the facility as needed
• Permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience
• Experience with chemotherapy administration
