About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Healthcare and Life Sciences Public Affairs practice. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in the industry, capable of providing expert counsel on a range of legislative, regulatory, and communication challenges. This role demands a professional with a deep understanding of the healthcare and life sciences sector, including experience in policy-making circles and a network of relevant industry contacts. The Managing Director will be responsible for delivering outstanding client service, generating new business, and leading a team to meet the dynamic needs of the practice. Key responsibilities include strategic counsel, account management, business development, and practice leadership. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' of relevant experience, with a background in public policy advocacy, communications, or media affairs. The role requires a candidate with superior strategic thinking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects. A strong work ethic, high energy, and a team-oriented mindset are essential. The ideal candidate will have existing relationships in the healthcare and life sciences political and advocacy space, and a proven ability to engage with industry-focused media. The Managing Director will also be involved in mentoring and managing staff, and contributing to the thought leadership of the practice.
