Our culture and our products reflect that. Job DescriptionThis position will provide support to the Financial Planning & Analysis team in carrying out a variety of finance initiatives and functions. The role requires a highly organized person who demonstrates a very keen attention to detail, a high level of proficiency with Excel, comfort synthesizing large data sets into concrete insights, an understanding of financial concepts, and strong communication skills.What You’ll Be Working On:Develop and maintain sophisticated and highly complex financial models used for forecasting, strategic decision making, and capital allocationMonitor and analyze critical metrics and business trends and provide regular updates to senior managementPrepare weekly reporting that highlights the operational results, forecasts, and business plans of the company’s various divisions and subsidiaries. Present findings to Sr. Leadership as appropriate.Help create and evaluate budgets, business plans, and forecasts for Care.com or any of its business unitsWork closely with the Finance and Business Unit leaders to meet strict internal and external financial deadlines Identify and analyze operational problems and recommend effective solutionsLead/assist with adhoc projects as appropriateQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent quantitative major3 to 6 years of experience in a finance/analytics role in a corporate environmentExperience in the tech industry, management consulting, or investment banking is a plus1+ years of experience building complicated financial models with a focus on efficiencyProven understanding of finance, accounting, economics, and statisticsExpert analytical skills and critical thinking skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsHigh proficiency with MS Office products, particularly ExcelAbility to work collaboratively and contribute successfully to cross-functional teamsExcellent organizational skills with the proven ability to meet strict deadlinesAdditional InformationOffice Locations: Dallas, TX (This is a hybrid position - We are on site Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) Available in more than 20 countries, Care.com is the world's leading platform for finding and managing high-quality family care. The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
